Every year a
Christmas crèche carved in ice is shown in one of the
most fascinating places of Graz, the Renaissance court
Landhaushof.
Replica of the second Marcus Car (1888/89)
During a presentation of classic cars I came across this
replica of the 2nd car made by Siegfried Marcus. The
original is still in running condition but for safety
reasons they showed only the replica.
Steam Locomotive SB 109.13 (1912)
During an event in Mürzzuschlag I came across this steam
locomotive. It was built in the year 1912 and is still in
use for nostalgic train trips. Until WWI it was used
for trains between Vienna and Trieste.
Fortified church in Weissenkirchen
In Weissenkirchen, a place in the lovely Wachau, there is
still a fortified church ('Wehrkirche') from the 14th
century. The big tower was built in the 16th century as
defence against the Ottomans.
