Clam Castle (Website)
The castle near Klam was built in 1149 and is one of the most preserved castles in the province Upper Austria.

This villa in Bad Ischl was the summer residence of the Emperor of Austria Franz Joseph and his family.

Kremsegg was home for old cars for many years, but changed into a museum of music instruments nowadays.

Heiligenkreuz
This monastery hold one of the largest relics of the Holy Cross (Heiliges Kreuz). My tour guide at that monastery was a young monk from Germany who has just started his new life there. Well, I hope he will find what he had looking for.

Schloss Hochscharten
Another castle in Waizenkirchen from the 19th century.

Hohenburnn
The former hunting lodge was built in 1729 by J. Prandtauer and is a hunting museum now.

Linz Palace
This palace was built around 1481 and enlarged in 1609. I like the museum inside which offers great exhibition about cultures and techniques.

Seeschloß Ort
The Castle is on a tiny island linked by a wooden bridge with a palace of the 17th century.

Schloss Pragstein
A castle from the 15th century which was located on an island in river Danube.

Burgruine Scharnstein
Actually there are two castles, which were built in the 13th century.

Emperor Maximilian died here. The origin is dating from 776 and was enlarged in the 15th century.
