With a length of over 1000 metres the castle high up the Lower Bavarian town
Burghausen is the longest one in Europe.

Linderhof Palace
A residence of King Ludwig in Bavaria. Ludwig loved the style of the French King
Louis XIV. So the castle is full of French treasures.
Schloss Neuschwanstein
A castle in Swabia build by king Ludwig II in the years 1869 - 1884. One of its
rooms is designed like a grotto.

A big castle in the middle of Nuremberg. It was one of several residences of the
